Picture this: a sunny May morning, the Country Neighbors 4-H Club donning superhero capes (okay, maybe not capes, but they felt like heroes). Their mission? To tackle the Mid Michigan Community Action Agency (MMCAA) food warehouse like seasoned pros.
The Great Box Assembly Race
Their club's amazing member, Anabelle, shared her experience with The Clare County Clover Chronicles:
Her task was assembling the food to go into the boxes, while others diligently placed the food items inside and stacked the boxes onto pallets. Anabelle found fulfillment in contributing to her community.
The day we did the project was on my birthday and I thought it was really cool to be able to spend my birthday helping out others.
Thank you, Anabelle, for celebrating your birthday by spreading goodwill!
Thank You, Country Neighbors!
Club leader, Joanna Krell, was excited to share that Country Neighbors were able to pack 8 pallets in just 2 hours! MMCAA staff said that was a record no other volunteer group has reached. Now that's impressive!
Your club's efforts inspire us all to lend a helping hand. We truly appreciate your hard work and compassion for our community.
